Cervical Cancer

Cervical cancer is normally a slow-growing cancer that develops over time. A screening test, called a Pap smear, can detect abnormal changes in the cells of the cervix. These pre-cancerous conditions can be treated effectively to prevent cervical cancer from developing.

Treatment options for cervical cancer most often include surgery and radiation therapy. Chemotherapy may also be used.
